I´ve run out of all ideas for new backgrounds. I would love to make more, but I don´t know what kind of themes you want. Any ideas? Tell me what kind of background you would like to have? What about banners and header, any ideas for those?
I would be more than happy to get new ideas. And I will pick as many as I can and create new backgrounds with your ideas. Thanks in advance. :))
Edit. Please, do not send the ideas on my email, because I'm afraid that I loose them there, leave your ideas on the comment box, then I see then all and know where to find them all at once. Thank you. :))

Morrisey and dia de los muertos Backgrounds, i would be ever so grateful amor.

ReplyDeleteI'd LOVE a vintage decor which incorporates sunflowers, bee's, daisy's and possibly a light/baby blue flower with plump roundish flowers
ReplyDeletemore steampunk, watch parts, around the world in 80 days type things, hot air balloon, black and white themes
ReplyDeleteI love the one I have now of yours! I love vintage, grungy, shabby chic, weird. I've worked in the library field for over 30 years, so maybe something with an old vintage library feel? Old dusty books; torn paper; librarian with bun and glasses! Not into "cute"!
ReplyDeletei would like to see your do something with the dolls you've just made and the sun and moon!
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful hydrangeas! Beautiful turqoise glass! For people on main stream :)
ReplyDeleteDay of the Dead would be wonderful...and steampunk for sure. How about some gothic and/or pretty faries? Think Brian Froud... More Halloween would be great too!!!
ReplyDeleteI would love a storytelling/writer's theme, with old paper and someone writing fairytales.
ReplyDeleteI love your design´s,, mayby shabby chic style in white/grey - looks great-
ReplyDeleteOld rustic timber walls or painted brick stucco kind of walls. Damask wallpaper sort of styles. Anything pretty and grungy, steampunk, shabby chic, I LOVE THEM ALL!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your's and Elegia's backgrounds and use them often on many of my blogs (I have 9 blogs!). I would love to see more historical themed ones and book themed (for us readers and book bloggers) and maybe some writing designs (for writers). Also, I love these seamless designs that Elegia has been doing. Here is a link to one I was recently using: http://pueblogisi.blogspot.com/2011/06/sweet-vintage-for-2-and-3-columns.html
ReplyDeleteIt worked perfectly on my blog and there was no line or seam blocking my sidebar stuff. I don't like using the 3 column designs because not enough of your gorgeous backgrounds show on the sides. With the seamless, more shows up and that's wonderful. Good luck with your new designs. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
steampunk, machines, mecanics, diesel, hot air balloons...
ReplyDeletethank you so much for all you do !
Good morning,
ReplyDeleteIn the newspaper today is a beautiful picture of Amsterdam, I would love to send. On your blog, I find no email address, would you please email me where I can send the picture to?
I would like to thank you for your wonderful blog backgrounds.

Hi there and greetings from the Netherlands! I would love roses, flowers, Marie-Antoinette theme, lace, birds! Beautiful aqua and pinks! Hope you feel inspired again!
ReplyDeleteSomething Indian or Bollywood? That would be lovely!!
ReplyDeleteAnything vintagy, shabby chic. I like going to museums for inspiration. Particularly looking around the Victorian and older section. So many beautiful knick-knacks and lovely shabby colours. Hope this is of some help.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Michelle - something with books, old library, reading or lost in fairy tales.
ReplyDeleteAlice in Wonderland, some of the Brothers Grimms Tales, or the World of Jane Austen would be great!
And i would love a classic movie theme, old Hollywood.
Insects with a twist...
ReplyDeleteHow about something with Japanese Kanji characters.
ReplyDeleteLove Japanese and Albert Enstein. I love everything you do
ReplyDeleteI love your backgrounds but can't figure out exactly where to paste the code (I'm in blogger). Can you give me instructions? I did change my template to Minima and followed your instructions to make it 3 columns. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGail
ReplyDeleteGo to design(upper right corner of your blog) > add gadget > choose HTML/Java Script > and paste the code there > save. Simple as that. :)
I'm holding my breath for pirates.
ReplyDeleteI love your out of the box ideas, and am unsure I can give any suggestions that you haven't thought of.
ReplyDeleteRight now it's back to school time for kids/adults, popular ones being looked up right now might be school-ish themes. Maybe putting your own artistic twist on back to school? ( Albert E., Physics, literature, books, an empty eery library, pencils with wings, on a cloud doing homework/reading, dog eating the homework in the corner.
I know that my blogs purpose is mainly for my two little ones to be able to look back and see the fun things they did, the cute things they said, and how much we did with them as kids and growing. (maybe a collage of things related to parenthood, and growing kids with dreams)
A lot of people who blog are sharing a piece of them to the world. Maybe creating backgrounds that give that vibe. ( giving a piece of you to the world one key stroke at a time. thought bubbles, brains, heart, emotion, globes, connections, and anything else that can portray giving a piece of you to the world.
Blogs for chef's? I see a lot of people sharing recipes and surely with your artistic abilities you could create some super fantastic, and artsy chef like themes. I can already picture your art with a theme like that.
I could ramble forever, so I'll cut it off here with a last thought. To gain more inspiration i would suggest looking at random blogs, and see what kinds of topics people like to share with the world, and think of what themes might fit the blogs of all walks. : )
I look forward to any new blogs and backgrounds you post!
-Sasha
One last thing, I love how you have cute little girls, on the clouds by the moon, it'd be fun if there were boys and girls in some of the backgrounds, for those who have kids both genders. :D
ReplyDeleteI would love anything to do with bathrooms, showers, bubbles, steam, water etc. thanks
ReplyDeletevintage needlework, shabby fabric and lace or anything vintage please!
ReplyDeleteHere are some ideas!
ReplyDelete-Autumn leaves, colorful nature
-water, pool, ocean, beachy themes, shells, nautical, anchors, stripes, ships, mermaids
-wedding theme, white ruffles, love, hearts, shabby chic
-vintage books, postcards
-letterpress letters, old vintage style
-typewriters, writing, pens, pencils
-woods, forest, owls, hawks, chipmunks
Keep up the beautiful work!

Vintage, burlesque tyyppiset rohkeat naiset kiloineen kaikkineen sopisivat meidänkin blogiin.
ReplyDeleteWell I've read all the other comments and not one of them mentioned owls......I adore them so there's a suggestion.
ReplyDeleteAlso I love computer games, mainly the Ratchet and Clank type but also into dark thriller type games...that would be a different sort of background especially for me!
Keep up the great work.
Hello from Portugal!
ReplyDeleteI love your backgrounds and I wish you would do some more with pre-raphaelite paintings or with a medieval touch... old books and gothic victorian would be great too...think Edgar Allan Poe... :)
I also particularly like those you have with silent film stars. How about using works from the old masters of photography? (Brassai, Man Ray, Alfred Eisenstaedt, Bill Brandt, Cartier-Bresson, Cecil Beaton, Imogen Cunningham, Edward Weston, so many of them... :)
Thank you for asking for suggestions and keep up the good work!
How 'bout something vintage Little Red Riding Hood, of atheme that's good witchy?
ReplyDeleteThank you! (All of your works are bright-and-shining-star brilliant!)
beatrix potter themes, and of course, steampunk!
ReplyDeleteanything witchy..i love love witchy stuff..
I think Victorian Steampunk. Mad scientist Lab kind of stuff. Butterlies with metal legs and Birds and Bones. Fossils and terrariums. How's that? Hugs, Robin

ReplyDeleteAngels always had a special place in my heart. Try making real people into an angel art :)
ReplyDeleteAw, it's just a little creative slump - you'll get through it. Your designs are always amazing! I love your dark, mystical backgrounds especially. You have some great deas here...best wishes! xx

ReplyDeletehow about something with witches, pumpkins, needles and threads but not too dark and overloaded. would love it ;-)))
ReplyDeleteI like the Gothic Cementery or any cementery.
ReplyDeletemexican folk art themes...(frida kahlo, day of the dead, virgin of guadalupe, loteria,)...famous artists (picasso, matisse, modigliani, warhol, basquiat), fairy tales (alice in wonderland, red riding hood, cinderella,). anything you do is truly amazing!
ReplyDeleteOooh! Anything with like a renaissance or victorian era feel to it. You could also go more into something like mermaids and gondolas :) .....I would also suggest more steam punk stuff
ReplyDeleteI lOVE your work and always refer my students to you. I am a gypsy at heart and any qypsy images/banners and design is appealing!!!
ReplyDeleterobin

ReplyDeleteI am looking for something with black crows or ravens on it. I love my header but want to jazz up the BG.
ReplyDeletewow
ReplyDeletewww.freestuff360.blogspot.com
This isn't a background, but I would love to see some small images that can be used to make a signature. And also more old-colored victorian stuff, like the Marie Antoinette can can dancers and a few others.

I'd love a template suitable for the loss of an adult child. I lost my 34 year old daughter two years ago to alcoholism. I'm single, have MS and well, have at it if you wish! I'd be thrilled! =)
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, I love your stuff...
Linen or burlap background with old salvage bits, or a fleur de lis, or steampunk jewelry.

ReplyDeleteHi! I just discovered your blog & I love it!
ReplyDeleteI need help though! Please take a look at my blog. I just used one of your backgrounds, but for some reason, your "Free backgrounds" link/ad is appearing over the title of my most recent post. How can I remove this "Free backgrounds" link/ad?
Thanks for your help!
P.S. Here is my blog: http://photovie-vivre.blogspot.com/

ReplyDeleteYour backgrounds are so beautiful! I would love to find one that i could match with a pink azalea's template.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see crazy quilting backgrounds and headers and other blog goodies. I'd love a Victorian theatre or music hall background, perhaps reminisent of Moulin Rouge.
ReplyDeleteI love your slightly 'naughty' girls -- the one i have now is Matildas' Bedroom and before that I had Pinups.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see you do more pin-up styles, they look great!

I love your work, you are so talented. I spend hours just looking at and reading your blog. I know you have done some but I personally would love to see some more Romantic Gothic style backgrounds. It would also be great if you could do something with the imagery from the Mexican 'Día de los Muertos' - Day of the Dead. Art Deco or Art Nouveau perhaps? Whatever you chose it will be wonderful. I hope your 'artistic' block, unblocks itself soon. It will! It only takes one inspiration and you will be full of ideas again.
ReplyDeleteThank you for creating such beauty.
Hie... Love your background themes.. How bout some food related background... Dat would be yummy.. ^^

ReplyDeleteHi, well I just noticed this and will be the 82nd commenter?
ReplyDeleteYour designs as well as Elegia's are the best!
I like dark- browns and blacks.. as they make the photographs really stand out! I like them with a design, but almost plain (more of a pattern i.e., like dimonds or sommething)-so it isn't too busy. That's just me because I take photos. Thank you for your valuable work..I appreciate it!
My best, Regina-
19TH century rowing. You know how they all used to wear those old fashioned suits and you can tie it in with Oxford and Cambridge.

LOVE all you do. I get so many complements on how pretty my site is, thank you so much. If it weren't for you I'd probably still be trying to figure out how I wanted my blog to look rather than writing inspirational creative stuff. Thanks again!

ReplyDeleteMulle kävis jotain söpöö Shabby Chic'kii, iloista ja onnellista. Sieniä, höpsöjä keijuja, meninkäisiä, tonttuja, eläimiä jne. sillain sun oman tyylisesti.
ReplyDeleteTerkkuja!
Talk about getting some responses!! LOL You now have more ideas than you need, but I've been looking for a Steampunk background that would be professional for my reviews, having color, and antique look...but not cutsie. I review art books, men's jewelry, and steampunk and bustlepunk fiction. I can only find backgrounds that are either too cute, or are too dull!
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking!

I'm a big fan of your art and use your backgrounds, cause I love them. Your creativity will never end! Jump start it with your fabulous photos of flowers on Facebook, and the collections on Pinterest. Also, I see you doing wonderful primal, tribal things, boho and also patterns. You like bright colors hot pinks and turquoise--you can't be depressed using those colors! Happy creating!

ReplyDeleteThanks for your wide range of backgrounds. You were asking for new ideas and I wanted to ask if you could do a few more backgrounds for men, just blokey stuff as there is very little that isn't feminine...I am putting together a blog for a male writer friend and finding it difficult re; background.
Thanks again~

magical spells really work!! I never thought there were still honest, genuine, trustworthy and very powerful spell casters until i met the spiritual helper, MERUJA OWO. last week he did a love spell for me and it worked effectively and now he just casted another healing spell for my friend who has fibroid and family problem and now she is totally free and she is presently the happiest person on earth, she keeps thanking me all day..
ReplyDeleteI just thought it would be good to tell the whole world about his good work and how genuine he is, i wasn't thinking i could get any help because of my past experiences with other fake casters who could not bring my husband back to me and they all promised heaven and earth and all they are able to do is ask for more money all the time until i met with this man. he does all spells, Love spells, money spells, lottery spells e.t.c i wish i can save every one who is in those casters trap right now because i went though hell thinking and hoping they could help me.i recommend MERUJA OWO for any kind of help you want.
